Own the technical side of the sales cycle — from deep discovery through proof of concept — turning complex requirements into successful deployments.What you’ll do:- Own technical discovery: understand customer architecture, constraints, and success criteria- Design solution approaches mapping Estuary to their stack (warehouses, databases, APIs, streaming)- Deliver live demos for real-world use cases- Run/support POCs, troubleshoot, ensure clear technical validation- Be the internal voice of the customer; surface product gaps- Support post-close technical alignment for smooth handoffWhat You’ll Bring:- Experience running technical discovery, demos, and POCs in B2B pre-sales- Solid understanding of modern cloud data infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)- Familiarity with warehouses, databases, APIs, streaming systems- Ability to explain architectural tradeoffs; strong communication; manage multiple evaluations; ownership biasWhat we’re looking for:- 2–5 years in technical pre-sales or data engineering; hands-on with cloud platforms; familiarity with Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift; understanding of ETL/ELT, APIs, streaming; ability to whiteboard distributed designsNice to have: Experience with CDC/replication; exposure to Fivetran, Airbyte, or ConfluentWork Location & Travel: Remote-first; prioritizing NYC-area candidates; ~15% travelSalary Range: Base: $91,000 - $126,000; OTE: $130,00 - $190,000; Equity
