About The Role

Demandbase is looking for an enthusiastic marketer with an extensive background in marketing operations and a passion for technology coupled with meticulous attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth and engagement through effective program and workflow management. Responsibilities

Campaign Execution & Quality Assurance

  • Approach every problem as a GTM Engineer, with the goal of streamlining processes for ease of use and self service for our customers across the company

  • Own our intake and project management framework to ensure nothing is lost, SLAs are met and projects are delivered in a timely manner and in working order

  • Understand and take advantage of the full breadth of our marketing techstack to solve ever changing GTM challenges

  • Operate with an AI and Automation first mindset by Identifying opportunities to improve on marketing automation and efficiency

  • Be not just an order taker, but a strategic and operational partner to our marketing team by leveraging your expertise to optimize programs, tactics and processes

  • Construct, QA, and execute multi-channel campaigns including email, nurture programs, forms, landing pages, and event workflows

  • Build and maintain customer journeys, advanced nurture paths, and email campaigns across the customer lifecycle

  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, email copy, layouts, and CTAs to continuously boost conversions

  • Monitor email performance metrics and manage sender scores, deliverability rates, unsubscribes, and subscription preferences

  • Perform pre-launch QA: review segmentation logic, suppression lists, UTM parameters, form configurations, tracking, and routing rules

  • Adhere to UTM standards including naming conventions, required parameters, and channel attribution rules

  • Track post-launch performance, monitor deliverability metrics, validate conversion tracking, and identify issues requiring troubleshooting

  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other industry-specific compliance requirements

  • Enforce naming conventions, folder structures, documentation requirements, and operational best practices

Marketing Automation & Platform Administration

  • Dive into our new internal automation platform, Mojo, and lead by example on the cutting edge of marketing technology by uncovering and solving for new use cases in the platform

  • Support and coordinate defined cross-platform initiatives that span multiple platforms (Marketo, SFDC, Bigquery, etc), teams and stakeholders to unify disparate datasets

  • Become an internal power user of Demandbase to help steer internal usage of the platform and lend expertise to product development direction via our Demandbase on Demandbase initiative

  • Configure programs, create smart campaigns, manage templates, and troubleshoot automation workflows to maintain platform health

  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations between Marketo, Salesforce, and other MarTech tools (e.g., Brightcove, ON24, Seventh Sense, Demandbase)

  • Evaluate and implement marketing technologies to improve operational efficiency and campaign effectiveness; ensure integration and alignment with CRM and other systems

  • Configure, test, and deploy new features, automations, and workflows to support evolving go-to-market needs

  • Provide training and support to marketing team members on Marketo and other marketing technologies

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform configurations, processes, and best practices

  • Stay updated on industry trends, implement best practices, and continuously optimize campaigns

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience of hands-on marketing operations or marketing automation experience in a B2B environment; SaaS experience is a plus

  • Proficiency in Artificial Intelligence platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini

  • Strong hands-on Marketo (or equivalent MAP) experience required: proven experience producing campaigns, managing automation workflows, and administering Marketo instances in a production environment

  • Salesforce proficiency: strong understanding of Salesforce objects (Leads, Contacts, Accounts, Campaigns, Opportunities), SFDC-Marketo sync, and CRM data management

  • Technical aptitude: comfortable with HTML/CSS basics, API concepts, data imports/exports, and troubleshooting technical issues

  • Experience leveraging UTMs to track web visits and campaign engagement (building, applying, and QA)

  • Strong QA discipline and extreme attention to detail: ability to catch errors, validate logic, and ensure accuracy in campaign launches

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Excellent communication skills: ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, train teams on best practices, document work, and flag risks early

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven with a proactive, agile, can-do attitude

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; or equivalent industry experience

Preferred

  • Experience with additional MarTech tools: Asana, Workato, Qualified, ON24, Brightcove, Stensul, Seventh Sense, Demandbase, or similar platforms

  • Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) or equivalent certification strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies and execution

  • Understanding of attribution models, funnel metrics, and marketing analytics; predictive pipeline analytics experience is a plus

  • Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology marketing

  • SQL or data manipulation skills

  • Familiarity with advanced segmentation strategies, lifecycle marketing, and personalization frameworks

  • Experience supporting AI-driven marketing automation, personalization, or optimization initiatives

  • Experience supporting A/B testing or experimentation frameworks

  • Exposure to compliance requirements: GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM
